ONE

I can't believe it. On monday, you're going to officially be ONE. Today, we had your birthday party..and i was gorgeous outside! *luckily* It was acutally a celebration for you AND dad..but dad spent the whole time over the BBQ cookin the chicken! pooorrr dad. (don't worry, he spent the whole morning golfing :) Anyways.. It was such a great afternoon. Here's all the ppl that came!

Lots of ppl love you lynley..but mostly of course, your mama and daddy. It was so fun to see you play with all the kids, eat your cupcake (which you went crazy for! you love to eat) I love celebrating your birth..because the truth is, you being born is one of (besides daddy) the best things that has EVER happened to me. You are mine, and I am totally 100% yours miss lady. Don't you ever forget that.

we've had the BEST weather the past few days..everyday we sit outside for hours soaking up the sun. you in your pink stripped sun hat and 50 spf sunscreen (i'm paranoid about you getting sunburned!) We go to parks and swing, have picnics in our front yard on a blanket, we eat strawberris (you in just your diaper) which are you're favorite treat. we go to soccer games, and cheer on your uncles gav & jake. We do yard work with dad.

This summer/spring is just going to be the BEST. It's going to be FULL of firsts for all of us.

Dad is looking at a really good job right now..and we just are crossing our fingers and praying that the bosses will want tyler..and the sooner the better.

We love you so much lyn. we want the best for you. every choice and descion we make..we have you and only you in mind. You are our everything. dad works so so so hard to provide for us, it's amazing. He's such a good daddy to you. he comes home from work, dirty, tired, hungry....but all he wants to do is hug you. if your still taking your nap..he BEGS me to WAKE YOU UP!! hehe. You are such a joy in our lives, i just wanna be friends forever. okay??

Today..

is going to be magical! we've had COLD snowy, rainy days for what seems like forever. but tday is ging to be beautiful. we're going to play outside, plan flowers, laugh smile, and maybe eat a treat or two. i'm staring at you...your sitting in your high chair looking out at the sunny backyard..i know youre excited too!!

also, you discovered your sippy cup today!! up until now, you haven't been very interested in the thing...now you won't take it out of your mouth!!

I lvoe you baby. Last night, you woke up crying in the middle of the night, i knew that yo uwere having a nightmare. But, i also kew that if i went to get you..you wouldn't be able to fall back asleep.. so i decided to let you fall bak asleep on your own..which yo udid. but it broke my heart to lay in bed and listen to you whimper your self back to sleep!

Oh, and your dad loves you too. They way he looks at you melts my heart. You already have him wrapped around your tiny finger!

this weekend i spent 2 nights away from you. it was the first time you slept somewhere else from me... EVER. and i hated it! i missed you so much.. i don't plan on doing it again any time soon!

but it was mom & dad's 2 yr anniversary! I really want you to know that i love your daddy so much. we're in this together. no matter what.

hey girl! i just put you down for a nap..we went a played at the park today! We fed ducks, and you weren't even scared of them. Van went with us, because he's been staying with us this week. You love to play with him, he makes you laugh all day.

It's been snowing this whole week, and i just cannot wait for summer. i fantasize about all the fun we're going to have in the warm sun!
